Cozumel
Cozumel is known as one of Mexico’s quieter islands and attracts guests looking for tranquility and relaxation. It is located on the Yucatan Peninsula and despite being only 48 kilometres long, it is Mexico’s largest island. Most of the island’s population resides on the west coast in San Miguel, where close-knit quarters make for friendly, laid-back hospitality that is extended to tourists and locals alike. In contrast, the east side of the island is sparsely populated and makes a great day trip for solitude seekers. Here you will find breathtaking scenery, quiet beaches and untouched sand.
Clear turquoise waters off Cozumel’s southwestern shores are home to the second largest reef system in the world. This places Cozumel on the map as one of the top five dive destinations on the planet. Qualified guides and tour operators are there to help you explore the waters. Snorkelling, windsurfing and deep sea fishing are among Cozumel’s other top activities.
