Four of the firm’s sub-category disciplines ranked 26th and higher in the national ICA-verified rankings.
RadonicRodgers Communications Inc. announced today that it has been ranked as 49th overall in Marketing Magazine‘s Rankings of Canada’s Top Marketing Communications Services firms.
Toronto-based RadonicRodgers shares rankings with 14 other firms that are new additions to this year’s annual listing of the top communications firms in Canada by annual gross revenues. According to the latest statistics available with Industry Canada, there are 4,840 incorporated advertising agencies within Canada as of 1998. The Marketing Magazine rankings apply to participating firms that are able to report gross revenues via Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and that are verified by the ICA (Institute of Communications and Advertising).
Additionally, eight sectors of the industry were broken out showing rankings for advertising creative, direct marketing, interactive/digital marketing, marketing research, media planning and buying, public relations, promotion marketing and strategic consulting. Of these RadonicRodgers ranked 26th and higher in four categories — advertising creative (20), direct marketing (21), interactive/digital marketing (26), and strategic consulting (22).
The ranking was bolstered by last year’s 3rd quarter acquisition by RadonicRodgers of the Travel-focused communications firm, JohnKennedy+Associates. Under its new ownership, JohnKennedy operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of RadonicRodgers Communications Inc. Companies that are ranked, list their Canadian-based subsidiaries where those revenues are included in the rankings.
